Volunteer
There are many ways to volunteer your time and talents to benefit
the children served by Covenant Kids! If you are interested in serving
as a volunteer, please click on the link below. Based
on your areas of interest, we may run a criminal background check,
require a TB test, and encourage specialized training.
Rainbow Room - New Opportunity!
Covenant Kids has donated items coming into our Rainbow Room each week. We often
need assistance with sorting and labeling the items and distributing them to our families.
Special Events
Covenant Kids has many opportunities for volunteers to help including
the annual Christmas Party and Foster Family Appreciation Dinner,
the Christmas gift drive, picnics, preparing Care Packs and more.
A variety of volunteer tasks are needed before and during each
special event.
Solicit Donations
Covenant Kids can always benefit by seeking donations from the
community. Volunteers can assist by visiting companies to
seek donations of items for an event (picnic supplies, wrapping
paper, etc.), ask for monetary donations, or seek donations of
items needed on an on-going basis (such as new children's clothing).
Office Assistance
Covenant Kids' office staff can often utilize the assistance
of volunteers in preparing mailings, answering phones, faxing,
and other office related tasks. We also need assistance in checking
and scheduling children for therapy and psychiatry appointments.
Childcare
Covenant Kids often utilizes volunteers to provide childcare
at our facility during training sessions on weekdays, evenings
and Saturdays.
Special Skills
Volunteer your talents to teach a class to adults or children,
or work one-on-one with a child to teach a skill, hobby, sport
or other item of special interest.
Prayer Team
The staff and families of Covenant Kids appreciate the power
of prayer! Join the team to pray for specific needs of our families
and children.
