Success Stories

The Tomerlins
This story is one heard too often. This teen grew up in an abusive family environment. Once removed from that setting, she lived in 2 shelters and was placed with two foster families. After retiring a few years ago, they realized their work in this life was not complete. They are parents of four adult children, 2 adopted, all on their own now. With the free time, they answered their calling and felt they could provide for another child. This child could enter a home filled with love, horses, and a chance at a life every child deserves.
On January 9th, 2004 this little girl became Evie Tomerlin.

The Rheas They are a sibling group whose mother unfortunately strayed onto the streets. These kids were separated and placed into different foster homes.
Before joining Covenant Kids, the Rhea family had 6 children of their own. They also answered their calling with four internationally adopted children. When Judge Bill Rhea and his wife Akemi saw pictures of these children, they knew instantly that these children belonged in their home.
These children have now joined 10 others in the Rhea family. The Rhea's completed the adoption process in March 2004. |
