Dear Birth Parent,

If you are reading this letter we can’t pretend to understand what you are going through or what events have led you to consider adoption.  What we can tell you is that you are already loved, cherished, and prayed over daily.   We have always wanted children and God has led us through our own struggles and loss to find His perfect plan to build this family through adoption.

We are excited to meet and learn more about you.  For now, we can introduce ourselves.  We are Steve and Courtney.

From Courtney, About Steve:

Steve teaches middle school math and has taught for over ten years.  He enjoys working for the school system and anticipates moving into administration soon.  He loves the outdoors, whether it’s camping, hiking, walking or simply grilling on the back patio.  Steve also enjoys tending a small vegetable garden that he planted in our backyard.  He is very intelligent as well as our resident handy man who can fix just about anything.  I am so lucky to have a husband who is patient, generous and truly loves making me happy.

From Steve, About Courntey:

Courtney taught preschool for many years before becoming a listed home for childcare.  In the last six years I have watched her nurture and teach over half a dozen kids in our home.  We look forward to her “retiring” soon to become a full-time, stay-at-home mom.  She is very natural and passionate about healthy, whole, organic foods and enjoys cooking and creating new recipes.  Courtney also likes reading and taking photos for her scrapbooks.  I have a loving wife that is giving, understanding and always there for me.

About our Family:

We were high school sweet hearts and have been married for over fifteen years.  We share a close and trusting friendship that has deepened over the years.   We enjoy spending time together outdoors or watching movies and playing board games inside.  We have a happy little lap dog that adores children.

Our extended family lives in the metroplex and is very supportive, loving, generous and excited about a new addition.  Birthdays and holidays are filled with fun and laughter as everyone gets together.  We have an incredible church with tons of activities, challenging bible study and sweet friends.

We like going for walks in our neighborhood and have a cool playground nearby.  We look forward to road trips and traveling the states, from tree lined New England to the Mountains in Colorado.  We want to see it all!
