Kinship Caregivers
Covenant Kids is honored to be able to provide services to families and individuals providing kinship care. Whether they be relatives or fictive kin, kinship caregivers offer children the opportunity to remain connected within their family of origin.
As the broker for home screenings, assessments and reports, Covenant Kids conducts Kinship Assessments for families referred by Child Protective Services.
Additionally, through Fostering Connections, families with a child in kinship care may become approved as foster and/or adoptive parents in order to receive benefits for the children in their care. Covenant Kids welcomes kinship providers to join in on our verification process.
