Live Training Opportunities for Covenant Kids Families

If you plan to attend any Covenant Kids training, please ensure that you reserve your space by contacting your Case Manager or calling the office.  In order for us to have better communication with attendees, it is important that we know who is attending each class in the event that a class must be cancelled.

SocialLearning.com

The above website courses provide a certificate of completion that the foster/adoptive parent must submit to the Covenant Kids Case Manager in order to obtain credit for taking the course.  The hours of credit for each course are indicated in the course catalog.  These hours are credited to the standard traditional course studies required for ongoing training.  No more than 10 hours of online course work can be completed per day.  At least two-thirds of the required annual training for foster/adoptive parents must consist of course work from the following sources: An accredited educational institution, Workshops, seminars, other direct training by qualified agencies including CK, organizations, and individuals, and in-service training.

Fosterparenting.com

The Parenting Center

Foster/adoptive parents may utilize the above websites, but due to not utilizing a test and/or being accredited, parents will be required to attach the Foster/Adoptive Parent Training Report Form to all certificates from these websites in order to receive credit.  The training hours received from these websites will count towards self instruction hours, which can only count towards one-third of the required annual training hours.

Reminder: Covenant Kids cannot accept one training certificate or Training Report form with two names.  Each person must turn in their own training certificate and/or Training Report form to receive credit.
