Connecting Families

The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex abounds in ministries designed to connect foster and adoptive families with one another.  We highly recomend that Covenant Kids families join a Foster/Adopt Family Support Group and/or join in a Foster Care and Adoption Ministry in a local church.

DFW Alliance of Adoption and Orphan Care Ministries

The DFW Alliance of Adoption and Orphan Care Ministries is a network of local church ministries in the DFW area.

The Alliance is committed to serving orphans and at-risk children in the local community and around the world. Each ministry is part of a Christian church congregation.  You can visit the DFW Alliance online at http://www.dfwalliance.org.

Covenant Kids has partnered with many of the ministries that participate in the DFW Alliance.  We have hosted training and participated in events in conjunction with:

Foster and Adoptive Parent Associations

Foster and Adoptive Parent Associations are local groups of families that gather for the purpose of support, encouragement, resource sharing, training, and fellowship.  We encourage all of our families to get involved with a group in your area.  And… don’t let the names fool you.  Most Foster Parent Associations are happy to welcome Adoptive Families.  We hope you’ll get involved in a group, today!
