Joshua

Joshua is a friendly youth who always has a smile on his face. He is affectionate and will give hugs to those he has a close bond with. Joshua is non-verbal and will communicate and interact with gestures. Joshua likes to play with toy cars and enjoys coloring and other activities.
Joshua loves to go on outings to the movies, bowling, or skating. He also likes to play board games and go to church. Joshua receives special assistance at school because he learns at a slower rate than most children his age. He is working on keeping appropriate boundaries with others and expressing himself in a positive way when he becomes upset.

Desired Family Profile

Joshua needs a family who can provide constant supervision for him and give him the attention he needs and deserves. This family will need to advocate for him in an educational and social setting to ensure he is receiving the best care possible. Joshua’s new family will need to have a structured lifestyle with a daily routine that is easy for Joshua to follow. Joshua would also like to maintain contact with his siblings, who are not part of this adoption.
