A homestudy is a thorough assessment of a family that is used for many different purposes in adoption and foster care.  First, the homestudy is a tool to verify the family to receive children through adoption and/or foster care.  It is also a time for learning through teaching and introspection.  And, the homestudy provides the information that your agency needs in order to make the very best match for your family.  As we discuss your upbringing, family life, work and educational history, past challenges and victories and a myriad of other topics, we’ll learn all about you and your family and how we can best meet your family’s needs.

Covenant Kids provides homestudies for families verified by the agency, however, we are also able to assist adoptive families with contracted services as they complete domestic, international, step-parent, and inter-state adoptions.  We are able to assist families with:

• Adoption Home Screening
• Post-placement supervisor visits
• Completion of the Post Placement Adoptive Report
• Facilitating kinship, step-parent, and grandparent adoptions
