Volunteer Your Time and Talents

Thank you for thinking of Covenant Kids!  We partner with churches and individuals in many ways and are open to however you feel lead to give and serve.

Covenant Kids has a Rainbow Room at our Arlington and Plano offices that is stocked with new and gently used items that foster/adoptive families may need–especially when children arrive in their home with only short notice.  One way to volunteer with Covenant Kids would be to spend time helping us to stock/organize our Rainbow Room for families coming to shop.  Other volunteers have focused their efforts on collecting items to add to the Rainbow Room.  We gladly accept donations in the way of new and gently used clothing, new Bibles, new under garments, new car seats, and gently used baby beds.  Our families are also blessed by the donation of toys, school supplies, and back packs.  And, as our children often do not arrive with appropriate luggage for their belongings, we accept new luggage and/or tote bags to give to children who come into care with nothing but a trash bag or box to carry their belongings.

Another way to serve children is by hosting a Parents’ Night Out for our foster/adoptive families.  Several churches in our area have blessed our families by opening their facility up to our families as a child care resource for a date night or just to give our families some personal time (usually a 2-4 hour block of time) to themselves.
