Daniel attended Baylor University before joining Covenant Kids, the vision of his parents, Bill and Karen Lund, while the agency was still in its infancy.  Since 2002, Daniel has been supporting agency staff by overseeing the agency’s information systems.

Lorie Gibson

Office Manager

Lorie joined the Covenant Kids team in 2002. She has over 25 years of experience working in various roles at Fort Worth State School, ADVO Home Health, and a pediatrician’s office. Her experience includes medical records management, medical billing, quality assurance, performance improvement, state contracts, human resources, and office management. As the Office Manager for Covenant Kids, she oversees the offices with a team of seven staff. Lorie and her staff ensure compliance with RCCL Minimum Standards and six DFPS Contracts through data collection, management of clinical charts, quality audits, and performance improvement reports. Lorie and her team support services in the foster care, adoption, family development, and psychological departments of the agency. Lorie spends her extra time watching one of her five children play various sports with her husband Jimmy of twenty years.

Michelle Boyd

Michelle joined the Covenant Kids team in 2011.  Michelle  supports the Foster Care and Adoption teams by managing child and family records from the Plano office.

Jamie Green

Family Development Assistant

Jamie joined the Covenant Kids team in 2011 and works from our Arlington office.  Jamie works closely with prospective foster and adoptive families by managing paperwork and assisting them with completing all the required steps for verification. Jamie maintains foster/adoptive family records and adoption records, ensuring charts are maintained in accordance with agency policies and procedures. In addition, Jamie is responsible for monitoring and assisting Case Management staff to ensure respite requests are processed timely. She is responsible for monitoring compliance of all background checks for families, as well.

Amy Norwood

Family Development Assistant

Amy joined the Covenant Kids team in 2004 and has worked in a variety of administrative roles within the agency. Amy came to Covenant Kids with 15 years of administrative, relocation and accounting experience.  Amy currently supports Case Management Staff and licensed families by managing the family charts for compliance, supports prospective families by managing paperwork and assisting them with completing all the required steps for verification, sends out Covenant Kids e-Words to keep families and staff informed of training and other happenings, as well as other various duties. Amy is married and has two sons.  She has been a member of Fellowship of the Metroplex for 14 years and is very active in the Children’s Ministry and Life Group Ministry.  She loves spending time with her family, playing games, reading and going to the movies.
